Luis Biraben

Like Ice is a great product. My horses always feel amazing after using it - it really helps them rest and recover quickly. I truly trust all the products from Equine America; honestly, all that I use from them are excellent.

Luis Biraben

Luis Pedro Biraben is an accomplished Argentinian show jumping rider competing internationally for Argentina. He has an extensive career in the sport, with more than 1,000 international starts and at least 14 recorded wins at FEI-sanctioned events, and he has represented his country at major championships including the FEI World Equestrian Games and the Pan American Games, where he was part of the Argentine team that won team silver in 2015 at Toronto — one of his most notable international accomplishments.

In recent seasons Biraben has been especially successful on the U.S. circuit and other international venues, forming strong competitive partnerships with horses such as Chacco Bumpy and Vasco 109. In 2025 he dominated the $125,000 Mary Rena Murphy Grand Prix CSI 3* at the Kentucky Spring Classic, riding Chacco Bumpy to a fault-free jump-off victory against a deep international field. He also continued that success later in 2025 by winning the $130,000 MARS Equestrian Grand Prix CSI 3* at the World Equestrian Center – Ocala aboard Vasco 109, showcasing his speed and precision in a competitive jump-off against riders from around the world.

Earlier in the 2025 season he earned another featured win in the $40,000 Ste Michelle Grand Prix at World Equestrian Center – Ocala with Chacco Bumpy, illustrating his consistency in both speed and technical classes throughout the year. Biraben has competed and placed at a high level across CSI 3* and CSI 4* events, including strong performances on horses like Georgina De Carles and Vasco 109 at major shows in Monterrey and Ocala.

Overall, Biraben’s career is marked by longevity at the international level, notable Grand Prix victories in the United States and beyond, and key contributions to Argentina’s team success in international championships.
